Description
Pack your charts and prepare for an evening of high-altitude operations over Central Europe! Join the Polish vACC and vACC Austria for their CityLink, a special event connecting the historic and vibrant capitals of Warsaw and Vienna with the cultural gem of Krakow. This event puts the spotlight on a classic Central European triangle: Warsaw (EPWA), Vienna (LOWW), and Krakow (EPKK). On August 26th, from 1700 to 2000z, we invite you to fly between these cities with full ATC coverage not only at the airports but also along the entire route. Experienced controllers from both divisions will be manning positions across the airspace – from ground and tower at each airport to approach and en-route sectors guiding you safely through Polish and Austrian skies. Whether you're piloting a regional jet on a scheduled hop, a business jet for a corporate shuttle, or a turboprop connecting these major cities, this CityLink is the perfect opportunity for a dynamic evening of flying. The route offers a fantastic blend of busy airspace and diverse approach procedures, with Vienna's international hub providing a perfect mid-point between the two Polish cities. The spirit of CityLink goes beyond just the line on the map – you are free to choose your own journey.
