Detected movements use stable takeoff and landing transitions and are assigned only to a nearby airport. Headline departure and arrival figures count movements, while flights and pilots are counted uniquely. A flight that departs near the end of the window and lands afterwards counts as a departure only, because its arrival happened outside the window.
