The Finnish-Swedish rivalry is coming to the skies! Finnkampen is a VATSIM traffic competition between Helsinki-Vantaa (EFHK) and Stockholm Arlanda (ESSA). During the event, pilots will compete to see which airport can attract the most traffic. THE COMPETITION Choose your side and make your traffic count! 🇫🇮 EFHK — Helsinki-Vantaa 🇸🇪 ESSA — Stockholm Arlanda Every flight to your chosen airport contributes to its traffic total. At the end of the event, the airport with the highest amount of traffic will be declared the winner of Finnkampen. INSPIRED BY THE REAL THING The event takes its inspiration from the real-life Finnkampen, the annual Finland–Sweden athletics competition where the two nations compete head-to-head. This time, however, the competition moves from the athletics track to the skies of VATSIM.
