Description

Hello everyone! Moscow Air Traffic Control Centre is kicking off a new event season! As tradition goes, our first autumn over-load event will take place at Moscow’s oldest airport — Vnukovo. Established in 1941 as a military airfield, it became one of the capital’s civilian gateways just a few years later. In 1956, it was from Vnukovo that the first Soviet passenger jet service departed for Irkutsk, operated by a Tu-104. Today, Vnukovo is a modern hub handling up to 24 million passengers annually, with hundreds of flights across Russia, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Once again, the event will feature one-room control: our Moscow controllers will gather at a gaming centre to provide five hours of ATC together. This time, we’re using the Over-load format, **with no slots required**. You’re welcome to fly any route at any time between 12:00 and 17:00 UTC. See you at Vnukovo this weekend! ✈️
