Description

On 17th of October 2026 we invite you to a new edition of the Munich Overload event from 1400z. You can look forward to at least six hours of the best ATC service at Franz-Josef-Strauss Airport in the north-east of the Bavarian capital, and for the first time in Oberpfaffenhofen, Augsburg and Memmingen. As usual, we will once again staff the event with a competent crew of controllers so that you can enjoy full coverage from delivery to center. Due to the extended duration of the event, several flights from or to Munich are possible. Munich offers ideal conditions for both passenger as well as cargo aircraft, and VFR traffic can enjoy a sunset over the heartland of lederhosen and vibrant beer tent traditions. It's best to mark the date in your calendar and join us in pushing the frequencies to their capacity limits.
