On the 28th August 2026 from 1730z until 2030z, we will return to Southend (EGMC) for the return of a historic event, Summer By The Sea! Prepare your flight deck for a picturesque evening along the Essex coast. As the late-summer sun dips toward the horizon, casting warm golden light across the Thames Estuary, London Southend will awaken with full top-to-bottom ATC coverage. Whether you’re executing an IFR arrival in a regional jet, threading the low-level VFR corridors along the shoreline, or hovering into the apron in a helicopter, expect crisp vectors, seamless control, and warm coastal hospitality.
